Graduate Energy Balance Equation for Diffusion of Specimens Across a Membrane
The specimen A diffuses from the side of the membrane with the concentration cA (side 1) to the other side (side 2) and specimen B diffuses in the opposite direction. Because the temperature at the side 1 is TA and the temperature at the side 2 is TB is heat flux in both directions...- lesy1

Graduate Energy Balance Equation for Diffusion of Specimens Across a Membrane
Imagine a wall (membrane). Concentration of a specimen A on one side of the wall is cA and it has the temperature TA. The concentration of a specimen B on another side of the wall is cB and it has the temperature TB. Specimen A nad B diffuse against each other (assume steady state). Can somebody...- lesy1

Undergrad Air pressure dependent water evaporation
Imagine a water basin, surrounded by air. How does evaporation speed of water change if the air pressure of surrounding air is 1.000Pa, 10.000Pa, 100.000Pa, 1.000.000Pa, 10.000.000Pa. What is an order of magnite of the evaporation speed change. Where can I read more about that? Regards. -

English expression - not stacionary heat flux
Hi, I am doing an experiment. I am heating a sample and changing a temperature on one surface of the sample as a sine function of time. Measuring heat flux I am trying to predict heat response of the sample. After some sine cycles heat response is in every next sine cycle the same. How do you...- lesy1

Undergrad Diffusion of water vapor in air
I would like to calculate a diffusion of water vapor in stagnant air. Does anybody know if it is a case of equimolar or nonequimolar diffusion. How one could calculate a diffusion in my case? Which variables is diffusion coefficient dependent on? -

Undergrad Quantity of water in air at saturation
Redbelly, Y, I am sure that ideal gas law could be used if humidity of air would be low, but because I have air with 100% relative humidity, something says to me, that I cannot use ideal gas law in this case. -

Undergrad Quantity of water in air at saturation
Jeff, thank you for the answer, although I did not find out anything new. The quantity I am looking for is also called saturation vapor density, but I cannot find any suitable model to calculate it. Can anybody please comment validity of using ideal gas law in my case. Regards -

Undergrad Quantity of water in air at saturation
Hi, I would like to know if somebod knows where I could find a corelation to calculate the quantity of water in air at saturation in g/m3. I know that many equations exist to calculate saturation pressure of water vapor in air as a function of temperature. Using one of these equations and an...
