Understanding the math of inductance
ΔΦ / Δt term also take frequency into account. More the frequency, more will be the value of ΔΦ / Δt. Flux is due to magnetic motive force which is a function of current. Suppose current is i=cos(2*pi*f*t), taking rate of change of this current will move 2*pi*f outside and voltage will have a...- mabs239

Decode Message: Will Someone Tell What Does This Code Say?
Jimmy's answer is correct. It would be more interesting if you could find the underlying mechanism to generate these characters. It looks so simple when you know it. Obviously not so simple to guess it first.- mabs239

Decode Message: Will Someone Tell What Does This Code Say?
Hint: This message is one to one correspondance between English alphabets and the alphabets you can see in the shape above. Sorry, I can't write so long a text so as to be applied to frequency analysis. Anyway the words written are so familiar to you all!- mabs239

Decode Message: Will Someone Tell What Does This Code Say?
Will someone tell what does this code say? Sorry for my poor use of free hand tool. All lines to be considered straight.First character has been drawn bold but it does not matter.- mabs239

Which student is correct when bulb C is removed?
Your analysis is OK. Bulb B should be 1.5 times brighter and bulb B's brightness will be reduced to 75% of previous value.- mabs239

Seeking Heating Element: 5 cm x 5 cm, 293-373 K
I have observed that reversing the polarity of any IC circuit gets it too much hot. You might use any cheap/faulty IC circuit with the metallic plate of requiered dimension attached like heat sink. You can also use high wattage resistors. resistance needs to be calculated for the given...- mabs239

Is My Diode Becoming Too Hot? Troubleshooting Advice Needed
Using diodes for voltage regulation is a not a very good selection. You might consider using fixed voltage regulator IC's like 7805 (A 3-terminal device with 5 volts output), 7809 etc or LM17.- mabs239

How do high voltage surges affect lightbulbs?
funops, You better start a new thread. I have seen a lot of times electronics equipment failiures attributed to high voltage surges by the vendor. I have never heared a bulb or light becoming victim of that surge.- mabs239

What is the Symbol for the Yellow Electronic Component?
What circuit it is? It might help understand the device. I guess it to be some radio circuit because of large number of discrete components and small capacitors. The said component might be a transformer or an inductor and a capacitor togather.- mabs239
