Philosophy: Should we eat meat?
phisicsisphirst... thanks for that post! unfortunately to do it justice it will probably take me 3 weeks to work my way through all that info. I was not trying to imply, that i have to eat meat no if's and's or but's. I just thought, in my possoble ignorance, that it is better for me to be...- marley.wannabee

Abstract reasoning, a way i look at it
VERY flexable... i search on abstract art and see all the different abstractions... stylistic representations; all of which will be in the category 'abstract'. Yes, i think a good understanding of 'abstract' has to include the understanding that people see things differently. "abstract" in...- marley.wannabee

Abstract reasoning, a way i look at it
June Wayne is heavily influenced by space exploration and advances in science, her self described "Quantum Impressionism" is an accurate way to describe it imo. As an added bonus, she's one of the most amazing women ever... starting back in about 40ish i think with a major "woman of the year"...- marley.wannabee

Greatest Frontman: Axl Rose or Someone Else?
No doubt in my mind Zappa is/was the "best". I don't think he will be really understood until the aliens land. Ever read the philosophy book written about him? "The negative dialectics of poodle play" i put it down after 100 pages for fear my head was going to explode. My favorite? tied...- marley.wannabee

well, some people think I'm an a$$, so.. i give them the benifit of the doubt :) Alexander, oh yes i do. I argued with him about the 'reality' of what 'numbers' may be and i was never really satisfied that he answered my questions to him, so i stopped bothering.- marley.wannabee

Abstract reasoning, a way i look at it
I Do a web search on 'abstract art' and browse around at the paintings... It's a great way to get a feel for the word 'abstract'. It's easy to know a definition, it is harder to gain experience of a concept. When i look at a variety of paintings and really 'understand' what the word abstract...- marley.wannabee
