    As an inveterate "hand-waver" I thought Magnus would make an appropriate avatar for a while. -Now is there a smiley for hand waving?

    Yes. My 60th birthday. The nicest photo of me in recent years.
    Someone took it when friends at work had a little surprise party for me. And it really did come as a surprise.

    I looked for this avatar after being admonished again as a hand waver on PF. Magnus Pyke was a science populariser and known for his animated presentations with lots of hand waving.
