  • I am perplexed at the cognitive dissonance you have when dealing in matters of clarification. You closed a thread suggesting that I was not attempting to educate myself further in maths which is exactly what I was trying to do. It is no wonder I cannot learn more mathematics if the people I ask for clarification and help have a similar disposition to you.

Actually, what he said was "...personal speculation is off limits here."

PF maintains a standard of content based on the existing physical standard models and evidence for them.

It would be paradoxical to ask for 'clarification' on models that are imaginary, I think you'll agree.

Thanks for moving my thread! I am so overcome with the excitement of ideas I didn't care to appreciate or respect the order in how to express it, and that was rude of me, so I apologize for that.

Sorry to intrude, but I have been victim of arrogant attitude on this platform too. I signed up to learn more and I found myself being mistreated and had two comments reported as spam. They were then deleted by admin. But, I have avoided most direct interaction since.

You've left again. You've asked the question and didn't wait for the answer. This is the answer (part 2/2):
I don't care "What does QM predict for such statistical results?" or "How does this hypothesis arise from the math of QM? (Hint: it doesn't.)" because, as you said, it doesn't predict it. QM tells nothing about it. The only way to know is the experiment. I can tell that you were waiting for me to use a lousy expression. Bravo.

You've left again. You've asked the question and didn't wait for the answer. This is the answer (part 1/2):
    This is the uncertainty value:##Δt=(l_2−l_1)/c##
    This is the uncertainty range:##<−Δt;+Δt>##
    This is the result range:##<t−Δt;t+Δt>##
That was Rude. I read the articles: I want an electronic device that could be used in a non lab setting. The Lamb Shift is difficult to measure even in the lab. The Casimir Effect is bulk net effect. Since the SET is dealing with single electrons maybe it could be influenced by single QVFs and that this influence could be measured by appropriate amplification. If there is no such thing as QVFs then ok.
I do not appreciate you closing my thread before I could respond. "Entitlement to belief" was a courtesy to one who abandon the field rather than answering my response.

The criterion for closing a thread should not be that one is questioning a widely held position. The response assumed that the definition of "spin" as intrinsic angular momentum had been abandoned without notice by Bell in his proof.

May I ask for a different resolution for my thread "Schrödinger's cat: what's the state?" Instead of locking the thread, please could we delete the comments of mine and yours that led to you locking it? I can agree that my comments there are too much in my own research line, but the question itself seems open to discussion within conventional norms.

Peter, if it is I who caused the "Does the "space twin" benefit from length contraction?" to be closed, please discipline me and allow others to post if they wish. My apologies. Thanks, Wes

Peter, can you tell me why my thread Time and the universe was closed
    cheers,
I appreciate the recent posts on the thread explaining why I was wrong instead of just saying I was.
