The question is what is math sense (if there is) and how to evolve one.
and yes since you pass your math exams it means that you have a math sense and yes you would not pass those exams if you didnt have determination.
But...
For me its about getting as elementary as it gets in principals and allocating your thought in respect to each of those principals. (also there must be an enternal research to validate and revalidate those principals and search if they are in essence a product of more elementary principals etc)...

I am currently an undergraduate student at a department of applied mathematics.
Its a 4 years (240 ects) program in which I can take lots of physics classes directly from the department of physics of my university as well.
The thing is that I start to believe that I like more to do physics...
Note: I used a shaker and shaked the mixture in a very intense way for a few minutes, also the signs may start to show up within few hours but to completely see the salt on the outside of the glasswalls you have to wait 1-3 days
+ (I don't know if that matters) my mixture had filled the 3.5/4...
If I understood your description right then this should create a ring or a belt of salt just above the surface of the solution..
I am talking about salt signs a few CM higher than the surface (On the inner walls of the glass) and on the OUTER walls of the glass its like it crawls up in streams...
Just try and do it yourself using a mixer or a shaker or whatever starurate the water with salt pu it on a glass cup and leave it there for some hours its cheap and easy no special safety measurments or gear are nessecary
I am talking about a saturated mixture.. I am talking about salt appearing NOT >ON< the surface.. but ABOVE it on the inside glass walls (of the cup) and eventually on the outside aswell... its like small salt particles defining gravity or like bacteria spreading but in a much faster rate :P

I put as much salt as the specific quantity of water could dissolve no more no less...

I would like to add that when i used the word "formed" i didnt mean how is gold created in terms of mater i was talking more about after its creation in terms of consetration
