Electromechanical vs. Mechanical Engineering
Hi, I am from India, and i have graduated in mechanical engineering in 2010. Since then i have been working, performing IT systems audit. I like the job but, I think i would be happier(Joy of Understanding - Rattleback?!) in physics. I would like to pursue a graduate degree (MSc) in plasma...- Pradhan34

Graduate Gyroscope Precession - Cause? - From Feynman
This part i didn't get. The Most speed? if the disc is rotating clockwise with a angular velocity w. the velocity is constant for a particle rotating on the circumference of the circle. v=rw: r=radius=constant Are we considering a gyroscope effect here? if we are then using the vectors for... -

Solving the F16 Jet Fighter Turning Circle Puzzle
Yeah Willem2 has it spot on. look up the difference between distance and displacement,it's critical to problem 1. Problem one seems to be a insight into definitions. For Problem 2, you need to understand, why does the F16 need to bank? what does it achieve by banking? Its taking a turn right...- Pradhan34

Graduate Gyroscope Precession - Cause? - From Feynman
I ran a search for gyroscopes looking for a definitive solution to the "What causes Precession?" and found no good clear answers. I think the Feynman lectures come close to the solution and followed that thought process, all the pieces point to the solution, I had to put my theory to the test on... -

Find w (frequency) using energy equation
the formula for W(omega) = (k/m)^0.5 is derived for the spring force as proportional to x. the force you have(A/x^-2) is inversely proportional to x. I have a feeling you are getting an error there. i tried to do it... but i got a really screwed up differential equation.- Pradhan34
