Efficiency of Triangular Fin for Heat Transfer
Homework Statement A strait fin fabricated from 2024 AL with k=185w/mK base thickness=3mm, length=15mm. Tb=100C and fluid temp is Tinfinity=20C and h =50 w/m^2K. For the foregoing conditions and a fin of unit width, compare the fin heat rate, efficiency, and volume of a triangular fin...- Santorican

Work and Power Homework problem
Okay so I tried using the conservation of energy Ue=Ke and then broke it down to mgh=(mv^2)/2 and then simplified to find velocity but this is where I am confused. I tried using V=(2gh)^1/2 and it was wrong. Then I tried to find the component of gravity at a 30 degree angle with respect to y...- Santorican

Work and Power Homework problem
This question, I have absolutely no idea what to do. Question: Tarzan, in one tree, sights Jane in another tree. He grabs the end of a vine with length 20 m that makes an angle of 45 degrees with the vertical, steps off his tree limb, and swings down and then up to Jane's open arms. When...- Santorican

Solving Circular Motion Help Homework: Find Speeds & Apparent Weight
Homework Statement The Cosmoclock 21 Ferris wheel in Yokohama City, Japan, has a diameter of 100m. Its name comes from its 60 arms, each of which can function as a second hand (so that it makes one revolution every 60.0 s. Part A:Find the speed of the passengers when the Ferris wheel is...- Santorican
