Yes the trigonal pyramidal structure has only the C3 axis but there is no C2 axis, i mentioned the trigonal planar structure in my previous discussion.

look if you have a type of AB3 molecules with similar 3 atoms like NH3 then you have one rotation improper axis which is C2 this axis is passing through each H atom hence you have only one C2 axis since the 3 atoms are the same, but how does this axis process 180 symmetry?..this needs a bit...
who said that ammonia has 2 rotations axes? it has only one rotation axis which is C2 axis,
check here :
http://www.chemeddl.org/labs/avisualdatabase/index.php
and look for ammonia, and see symmetry properties.
i am going to share this thoughts with you..this is maybe incorrect but my guess says: this is due to the change in LFSE (Ligand Field Stabilization Energy) change from a high spin (weak field) configuration to the low spin (strong field) configuration causes electrons to redistributed in...
Yes carbocation is more stable. let's take for example the ter-butyl carbocation (Ch3)3-C+ this charged ion is highly stabilized due to the presence of the three donor methly groups that donate electrons, and hence largely stabilize the positive charge.
On the other hand the tert-butyl...
Thanks for your precious help my friend, awesome as usual chemisttree :)
Titanium oxide is a good idea (as the white colour now is our big issue), but it is a little bet expensive also carcinogenic, but i will look forward trying this one.
I just contacted BASF Eg. and i am waiting for their...
Pavement paint, pleasezz help
Hello Guys,
well, we -people here in my district in Egypt- are planning to clean the districts and doing some paints to the pavements in streets in order to relief their colors and paints, we are trying to prepare an easy ''home made'' chemical mix in order to...
Yes Borg.. that's it!
this is the application really i did..i know it is so stupid maybe the most stupid applications i have ever made in my life lol!
i hope it is not only about the football questions..it's about this stupid question asking about interior draeminity..
weird lol..
yes iam sure of the terminology,..
Andre, i also searched in geology dictionaries before coming here..but found nothing
I got the question exactly from the paper like this:
- From your academic background, what does this word mean: "Interior draeminity"?
this is very strange!
what is the hell is Interior draeminity??
Hi, this is very strange and i have never heard about it, i either can't find any results in google search..
so what is Interior draeminity??
i have been asked this question in Geosciences workshop in my college kinda of 'testing you knowledge'
'...
Thanks Ygg , thanks Borek..
yeah it is amino acid group sorry not only NH2 i misslead that..i think i got what u meant to say i think u mean something like this http://www.wpi.edu/Academics/Depts/Chemistry/Courses/General/aminoacid.html
i will inform him he is a biophysicst.
thanks again
Hi,
well my friend is in the final year graduation and he is working on a project a part of it is trying to detect the pH of a certain compound exist in acidic HCl solution, this compund don't remember its name for recent but it has the amino 'NH2" group this compund is in solution of HCL and...
i'd tell you to choose a solvent that does have a common ion with your precipitate..as example if you have AgCl you would use AgNO3 with it...and so on
