Doppler effect and Resonance-relationship?
Doppler effect and Resonance--relationship? we have a structure called Menar Jonban (i.e. Shaking Minaret-- it's basically a minaret that could be shaken --- literally!..you shake one minaret and the other one shakes too!) ... obviously the best explanation of the phenomenon is resonance .. but...- smhni

High School First reactions to Einstein's theories? (support or refute)
I'm just curious, what was the first reactions to Einstein's theories (it was 1905, right?) ... were they refuted or supported? was it like "Oh! these are nonsense..these are pseudoscience .. we shall burn you"?! or were they garnered respectable amount of debate?... were they supported by...- smhni

Undergrad Luanch angle to put a satellite in an orbit?
I have a Question: suppose we have a satellite (m=400kg, V[SIZE="1"]0=40m/s) and we want to put it in a 1000km orbit (r=1000km)...what should be the launch angle? P.S: is this question complete?[SIZE="1"](For Lack Of A Better Word) .. I mean do we have a formula which relates these...
