Ok If you had a complex object, like a jet engine and what to rig a crane correctly to pick it up, what would be a good procedure on how to go about this? Let's say you had access to the engineering drawings and such, and could thus get approate weights for subsystems(turbine, bypas fans, etc...
Yeah i'd tend to agree with this statement. H2 is a poor choice for fueling(at least in natural aspirated engines, to which are not in a more "durable" enviroment..IE an automobile engine). If i were you I'd suggest looking at other petrolum based designs, or further into the RAM/SCRAM jet...
Well right off the top of my head for number one:
The realitve masses of each element is simple, just look at a peroidic table, H is about 1AMU and CL is aroundl 35 AMU.
For B-D they all depend on if your "system" is at STP. If it is then the Temperature would be 273K, Pressure = 1ATM...
The "Best" calc book is Stewards'. You can snag the 4th Edditon for 10 bucks on ebay, but the 5th eddition is newer(but also like 100 dollars). Since your not in engineering, it usesless to get the Vector eddition, because that one is slightly geared more towards engineers(but it couldn't hurt...
I don't know man, i mean really what's the point of majoing in two very close Engineerings. If i were would i'd pick up a degree in Physics or something like that, it would better suite you in the long run.
Of of these fine programs are avaible to me via my school. I'm looking for a the better program. Fromw hat i see I think mathamatic is better, but i wanted to get some imputs in here.
Thanks
Excellent work, but guess who is building it.. LM... soo it's being made from a US company.. which was the whole reason everyone got all fired up. It's plain knowledge. Who cares if the euopeans designed it during the cold war. LM put there own engineering touches on it.
I see were fred is comming from, I mean i rather see beoign airplanes int he sky rather than Airbus, but i do like airbus more. With boeing making the new 787 series, it will allow them to better compete int he market. Also, were protective of boeing b/c it's a massive staple in holding jobs in...
Oh hell yeah there ADA was better than ours, They had like 10^32 versions of SAM's and i mean they built the entire ADA network for Vietnam, and it was a ***** punching through that. Russians MADE some good stuff, now i think allot of like "groups" purchase the russian born equiptnment. I know...
While all of this is true... you comapred it to LM... not airbus... which is what were all talking about. In additon the the LM statements, LM was either JSF or bust. They, just have been slightly better than boeing, mainly because there operatioans are not as broad as boeings, or at lest they...
Actually he makes a very good point. All of airbus's systems and layouts are virtually the same, it's one of there key selling points. Like in 9/11 the terrorists chose B757 and, 767 b/c they are very similar to fly and the instrumentation is identical to each other. With the amount of fuel that...
