High School Newton's law and conservation of linear momentum
obviously..but the question is "Conservation of linear momentum is consequence of which one of Newton's three laws?" .. so momentum conservation can be derived starting with N3L and using N2L...but N1L is a special case.. -

Graduate Does Gravity from Other Universes Affect Our Universe?
if it attracts mass in our universe, then we should see the deflection in our universe. -

High School Newton's law and conservation of linear momentum
only third law is enough.. F1 = F2 ma1 = ma2 mdv1/dt = mdv2/dt dmv1/dt = dmv2/dt dp1/dt = dp2/dt integrating with time dt gives, p1 = p2 -

Graduate Lagrangian and conservations laws
while studying lagrangian i got this doubt..if the lagrangian is invariant in time, space, rotation, then we have corresponding conservation laws.. In spontaneous symmetry breaking, the lagrangian is not invariant in ground state and the symmetry breaks spontaneously.so, the conserved quantity is... -

Graduate What is the contradiction between neutrino oscillation and helicity?
thanks for the replies mates..so not all neutrinos are left handed..there is a reference frame where it will be right handed..- spidey

Graduate Understanding the Meaning of Infinity in Uncertainty Principle
for ∆x ∆p ≥ ћ / 2 ..if ∆p = 0, then ∆x is infinity..what is the meaning of this infinity? does this mean it exist everywhere or it don't exist at all? my thinking is ..if we say it exist everywhere, then we are certain of its position which itself contradicts with ∆x is...- spidey

Graduate What is the contradiction between neutrino oscillation and helicity?
All neutrinos are left handed and all anti neutrinos are right handed.so,it should be lorentz invariant and travel at speed of light. if it travels at c,then it is massless. but, neutrino oscillation requires mass? why there is contradiction?- spidey

How can I fix the issue of hard drives not opening when double clicked on?
i am using windows xp..the os is installed on c: drive and i have 4 more drives..i have this problem in all drives..when i right click any hard drive,i am getting the first option as "Auto" and not "open" so i deleted the "autorun.inf" file in all drives and perfermed error checking for system...- spidey

Graduate What was the Time of Baryon Asymmetry After the Big Bang?
Anyone knows at what time after big bang, baryon asymmetry happened..i read in Simon singh's book "Big Bang" that there was more mater than antimatter when the temperature of universe was 10^15...anyone knows about the time at which it happened?- spidey
