Solar Cell connection to DC load

Dear all, i am possible to do experiment on the application of solar cell and i have run into several problems so i need to seek advice from all the experts in here. I have several DC loads include: 1 x Cooler fan (12V, 0.25A) 1 x cooler fan (12V, 0.2A) 2 x rechargable AA size battery...

    Increasing efficiency of PV cell

Dear peeps, i am currently facing a problem here. i am tasked to place PV cells within an area and maximize the efficiency of PV cell by focusing sunlight on the cell itself. I am wondering if it is possible. I am thinking of placing 3 cells in a U shape. 1 at the bottom facing up and 2 at the...

Relationship between light wavelength, intensity and photons energy

Ok thanks! So here goes another question since my basic concept is correct... so does that means that higher intensity plus short wavelength light, it will generate much more voltage and current as compared to same amount of intensity plus high wavelength light in photovoltaic cell?

Photovoltaic cell - relationship between wavelength and intensity of Light

Thank you for your reply but i don;t really get your concept. Lower wavelength i will get higher photon energy and the higher intensity i get more photons in the light right? if this is right, then doesn't that mean that high intensity with low wavelength of light will generate more voltage...

Relationship between light wavelength, intensity and photons energy

Hi peeps, i am having a project and i wish to clear some concept. 1. The shorter the wave length the higher the photon energy? Am i right? 2. The higher the intensity of light, the higher amount of photons exist in the light? Am i right? 3. So higher intensity plus short wave length...

Photovoltaic cell - relationship between wavelength and intensity of Light

Hi all, i am relative new here and i have an enquiry which i really wish to see if anyone can help me out with this. From my understanding, photovoltaic cell works by using photons from light to generate eletricity. From what i know is that the lower the wavelength of light, the higher is the...
