What should I ask for salary wise?
I'm into advancing within the company. My degree is applicable to the core business strategies and once I get it, that will boost my worth even more. This is a great move for me. The job is mine. I am just inexperienced in the corporate world and I am trying to make sure I don't settle for...- thakid87

What should I ask for salary wise?
Hello all. I'm a young kid just starting out in the corporate world. I've been busting my *** for my family and I have to say that I've been doing a good job. I work full time and I'm working on a BS in Electrical Engineering. An amazing opportunity has come up at work and I will...- thakid87

Wow So many steps to start a business
From what I've gathered, all I will need are a reseller's certificate/license and my tax certificate. I don't plan on having any employees, yet. I can get "dealer" status with some big companies if I do things right. This stuff gets expensive!- thakid87

Wow So many steps to start a business
Going from what I've read, It'd be best for me start this as an LLC. I'll basically be a reseller of industrial equipment, parts, engine parts, starters, etc. I've been in this a couple of years and I really can't take working for somebody else. I have contacts in high places that can offer...- thakid87

Wow So many steps to start a business
I would like to get a business started by year's end, but Christ. I'm going crazy looking at all these forms I have to fill out, and I'm not sure these are all the ones I need. I'm going to pull my hair out...- thakid87

How many of you are full time workers and students?
I completely agree with this. Sometimes I get home at 11:00. Only to have to wake up at 6:00 to get ready for work. And that's without including any of the time we spend studying. Hmm. What can we do but keep on persevering?- thakid87

How many of you are full time workers and students?
I was trying to do this as a poll, but I don't know how to... So, I'm currently a full time worker. M-F, 8-5pm. And, I'm also, either a part-time or full-time student. Varies from semester to semester as it's really difficult to synch between school and work and the free time that I have...- thakid87

Are My Trigonometric Identity Solutions Correct?
I'm having difficulties with a few identity problems and I wanted to make sure I'm doing the ones I believe I did correctly, correctly... 1. (cos^3x)+(sin^2x)(cosx) (cosx)(cos^2x)+(sin^2x)(cosx) 2cosx 2. (1+cosy)/(1+secy) (1+cosy)/(1+1/cosy) (1+cosy)/(1+cosy) 1 3. (tanx)/(secx)...- thakid87

Understanding the Law of Sines: Explaining Side a Formula
Not exactly a homework question, even though it is related to my homework... So, the law is: (sin A/a) = (sin B/b) = (sin C/c) So, in certain problems we have to manipulate this law. For example our givens include angle C and side c. (sin A/a) = (sin C/c) a would have to equal [(c sin...- thakid87

I have the possibility of taking Calculus 1 and Discrete Math next semester.
From the people I've spoken to, the general consensus is to take the class in separate semesters if possible. What do you guys recommend? I have 3 semesters left before I finish my AA and I want to get as many math courses in as possible... Thanks.- thakid87
