High School Where Does Energy Come From When Hanging a Permanent Magnet?
if the magnet did stay attached to the iron bar, then wouldn't the iron bar itself float apart into little atoms? isn't the same force that holds the iron bar together partialy responsible for holding the magnet? I am not well educated but this is where you lead me :)- thomas576

Solving 3z/2=z/6+4: Is it Right?
3z/2=z/6+4 so i x multiply and get 18z=2z+8 16z=8 z=1/2 this look right? thanks- thomas576

Learn About Circles & Find Radius
circles... and pie ok so i found this site and I am learning about circles now :) http://www.mathgoodies.com/lessons/vol2/circumference.html it says pie is 3.14 which is what you get when you divide the outer measurement of the circle by the diameter (pie being 3.14 as per his homework)...- thomas576

hmm again 2(x-5)-(3x+3)<x-7 2x-10--3x-3<x-7 -1x-13<x-7 so -1x-1x is 2x<6 and that is x<3? whoray! did i get it! looks like it works!- thomas576

division part i was referring to the < sign i remember them having to change for a reason, he says only if your dividing, i thought maybe it was for sign change but i think you answered me :0 let me look at last line again- thomas576
