    Difference between Vav and Vrms

Because V is a sinusoidal function, each of the 4 quarters have the same area right? So if i integrate each quarter individually i should be able to get V over the whole cycle?

    Difference between Vav and Vrms

Vav over the whole cycle is 0, that i understand. Then what exactly have i calculated?

    Difference between Vav and Vrms

if i calculate the change in flux over 1/4 cycle and divide by 1/4 of the period, don't i get Vav?

    Difference between Vav and Vrms

Homework Statement [/B] I encountered this problem during my exam. A coil of 50 turns, each with area 0.02m2 is rotated in a uniform magnetic field of magnitude 0.4T. The coil is rotated at a frequency of 60Hz. Given the average power generated is 50W, what is the resistance of the...

Calculating Torque and Current for Quadcopter Rotor Blades

Homework Statement The rotor blades of a quadcopter are 10cm long. Given that the thrust force generated by each rotor is 1N (giving a total of 4N for 4 rotors), calculate the torque () on each rotor, and the current drawn (I) from a 10V battery, given the following: Density of air, a = 1...
