Understanding Mining Techniques: How Miners Locate & Protect Valuable Resources
But even if they know where more or less the precious minerals are at, I'm pretty sure they would hire a geologist to map out the areas underneath the Earth and the depth where its located at. So does anyone know the equipment, science and technique behind such an endeavor?- Ukitake Jyuushirou

Understanding Mining Techniques: How Miners Locate & Protect Valuable Resources
The thing is with mining, I'm always seeing them use big machines to drill into the Earth but then how would they know when to stop when they hit a lode of gold or diamonds? I am assuming of course that the drill bit can destroy the very thing they are trying to mine.- Ukitake Jyuushirou

Understanding Mining Techniques: How Miners Locate & Protect Valuable Resources
Hi all, I have a question about mining (as in gem, uranium, gold etc). How do the miners know where to dig and how not to damage the ore during the mining process? Thanks- Ukitake Jyuushirou

Effects of drawing on the brain
LOL From what I understand, when one exercise regularly the heart will undergo hypertrophy to compensate for the increase workload. I'm thinking is it the same for drawing, will a part of my brain undergo some measurable change as I progress?- Ukitake Jyuushirou

Swine Flu: Potential Threat to Human Species?
4 viruses? Are you referring to the H1N1 and H5N1 influenza virus? If so it is just 2 strains of virus from the Orthomyxoviridae family. The influenza viruses are divided into 3 groups A, B and C. Usually only influenza A is of concern since it is the one that causes pandemics. The H in H1N1...- Ukitake Jyuushirou

Graduate Is it possible that there are organisms in higher dimensions?
