Is time=distance traveled /speed , applicable to the light traveling through space ? or are there any other equations to apply to calculate the time of flight between different planets?
Hi
Recently I have watched a video from The Hubble Telescope on You Tube .
He says, light travels with the speed of light through the space for billions of light years to reach us from other planet . The images what we are seeing from the Hubble telescope are the past images of that particular...
Hi,
I am also planning to build a telescope, need to collect all the equipment. looking for best measurements and its type. The suggested book was "How to make a telescope " Jean Texereau.
thanks for the textbooks reference but could not get the proper link to download .
I agree, mounting would be more challenging than getting mirrors . Still on the way to decide which telescope, refractor : reflector ?
Hi
I am very much interested to build a telescope on my own.
I am looking for a complete guide to build a telescope and getting the apparatus needed ?
Thank you in advance for all suggestions.
I would suggest you that while calculating derivative of an function if you see any constant in that equation ,you can substitute 0 directly which makes your equation simple.
In your equations
substitute 0 in place of dw/dt of your acceleration equation .
Hi,
A bit is a fundamental unit of information, classically represented as a 0 or 1 in your digital computer. I now number 100 is written in classical bits 0 and 1 as 1100100.Then How to represent 100 in qbits.
cheers!
moment of inertia of a point mass with respect to an axis is the product of mass times the distance of the axis
squared. So "r" is the distance of the mass "m" from the axis of roation.
Any force like u have mentioned comes under one of the four fundamental forces of nature .
The force can be categorized Depending on the objects responsible in generating the force .
Understanding the forces in simple terms ...
The force that acts between two celestial bodies like...
In my opinion , "all physics that is not quantum mechanics is classical mechanics" is not acceptable.
The many microscopic problems that's were not explained correct by classical mechanics were successfully got solutions by taking quantum theory into consideration. And other branches like...
In case the quantum mechanics is applying in semiconductors ,transistors ,molecular geometries , can I say like this..."quantum mechanics is necessarily to be understand to study solid state physics and electronics."
vanhees71,
What I meant by Real world is , there are many theories ,laws and principles are there in quantum mechanics .whenever I read any topic for example Linear harmonic oscillator , there equations mentioned for which some solutions are given .I could understand the...
I want to pursue my Masters in Research in the field of Quantum physics. I would like to understand the practical usage of quantum physics for eg: where it is used in real world and if any books to refer regarding the practical usage.
I have good collection of books on quantum physics which...
