Python Troubleshooting Basic CGI Script in Python | Tips to Fix 403 Forbidden Error
Doesn't seem to be working. I can't find the #ScriptInterpreterSource Registry line in the configuration file. Also, I don't really have a database like SQL. Are those strictly necessary?- zakbrown0308

Python Troubleshooting Basic CGI Script in Python | Tips to Fix 403 Forbidden Error
I'm trying to run a cgi script written in python. Everything is on my own computer. And when I say basic, I really mean basic. It's nothing more then a simple "hello world" statement. I've configured the document root to the right folder "c:/programfiles/apache2". And the url is...- zakbrown0308

Python Python Tutorial for Beginners With Little Programming Knowledge
I've been working with python for about 4 or five months. I understand how to use boolean, a little bit of I/O, making functions, writing my own classes, and importing modules. Pretty much the bare basics. Outside of this python experience, I have little knowledge of programming. So, can...- zakbrown0308

Why does the function file_object.readlines() return code and not text?
Okay, I just began a bit of a python phase, and I want some help. You'll probably be hearing from me quite a bit in the next few weeks. Anyway, my question is about I/O functions. Specifically when it comes to opening and closing text documents. I have successfully opened a file (which I...- zakbrown0308

I have a general question about LC circuits
basically I'm trying to build a tesla coil. But I was hoping to be able to tune the primary circuit. This is easier said then done. The second part of my question is, to do this, would it be easier to adjust the inductance or capacitance?- zakbrown0308

I have a general question about LC circuits
Setting up an LC circuit is difficult because I find it hard to make a reliable inductor and do not have the resources to get one. However, if I used an electric motor, which has an induction coil, would that suffice? Or is there something obvious I am missing? Also, if this is feasible, how...- zakbrown0308

News What political inclination would you describe yourself as?
Independent separates you from the demarcation of a "party." But if you can't even say where on the political spectrum you fall, then you just don't have an opinion.- zakbrown0308

Can a Negative Claim Ever Be Proven?
I do not claim to want to add anything to this conversation, but I wish to point out the irony of the fact that you are looking for proof of the notion that you CAN'T prove a negative.- zakbrown0308

Is Atheism Compatible with Natural Rights?
Now, one has to define "natural." An atheist does not believe in any sort of "god" and thus the only natural state of order is darwinism, which is not compatible with the idea of natural rights. However, an atheist would be able to argue that they can create their own "natural order"...- zakbrown0308

The Meaning of Life in a Deterministic Universe
I would like to respond, in my own way, to the idea that QM proves determinism false. Heisenberg uncertainty only states that definite positions and velocities are impossible to calculate, and thus for the purpose of calculations they must be represented as probabilities. However, the particle...- zakbrown0308
