Undergrad Calculating the Probability of a Royal Flush in Texas Holdem with 9 Players
How would I calculate the probability of getting a royal flush in a game of Texas Holdem with 9 players sitting on a table playing not against each other (without betting), but with the goal of producing a royal flush on the table. It doesn't matter which player gets the royal flush. The goal of...- Zythyr

Elastic Modulus of an Anisotropic Crystal
If I am given that mica has a modulus of 52GPa parallel to the c-axis and 179 GPa perpendicular to the c-axis, how do I figure out the elastic modulus of a polycrystalline mica where grains are oriented randomly?- Zythyr

Undergrad Emergency, Help With Stats Please
I am guessing 50%? Also I have another quick question 1. Highway paving material is a mix of asphalt, sand, gypsum, and other ingredients. Several Abatches@ of paving material are mixed each day. Asphalt content differs from batch to batch, with a normal distribution that has mean μ=100...- Zythyr

Undergrad Emergency, Help With Stats Please
I have a problem which I can't figure out how to do. Can you please explain how to do it. 1) Six 6 trees are randomly selected from an orange grove. Assume the median yield in the entire grove is 2.8 boxes per tree. What is the probability that the yields from 4 of the 6 trees will exceed...- Zythyr

Circuits: Solving Homework Statement on p, i, w
@LowlyPion Part A) What you said doesn't make sense. The question is asking for the amount of charge entered exactly at t=3s. This mean, you don't get the area under the graph from the previous time frame. You just have to get the area under the graph exactly at t=3s. Am I correct? Part B) I...- Zythyr

Circuits: Solving Homework Statement on p, i, w
@LowlyPion, thanks for the reply, but I am still a bit confused. Part A) @1s would the charge equal to 2C or 0C? Why is 2C? Shouldn't it be 0C because in the graph @1s, the current drops from 2A to 0A. @3s, why is my answer -1C incorrect? What is the correct answer and do you do get that...- Zythyr
