I found Physics Forums via Google search. Employment status is retired. Credentials; AAS EET 1984 NIT. Current livelihood summed up maybe as tinkerer. My preference for a word meaning tinkerer is tinkerman but tinkerman is already used elsewhere.

You can tinker with appliances but mathematics is pretty much carved in stone. That is to say if you want to make a new discovery it better give the same explanations as all the math before you. It's been pretty thoroughly tested.

Agreed. AI has no agency, yet. But as I always say if you can't tell the difference then what is the difference?
