I didn't get past picture #1

picture #2 got me

I came into this thread grumpy and determined not to smile out of sheer ill will towards everything. I cracked up at picture #1. Well done!

I'm sacred of dogs so I didnt smile at #1 but #2 got me!

#3 made me do it

Ivan Seeking,
Would you mind if I copy this to send as an e-mail/share it in other message boards?

I must be an old sour puss, I got through the whole bunch without cracking a smile.

number 2 got me. I'll tell you the one that cracks me up every time. That squirrel with the hanging nuts in the caption thread.

I failed right from the start, I'm hopeless!

I got through them all, but I was eating while I viewed them.

  • #11
That wasn't hard at all...

  • #12
Fell at four.

LMFAO Kitty

Those are adorable!

Not at all.

  • #15
I'm pretty hopeless at these kinds of tests. I start smiling before I've even seen the pictures - just because I know I'm not supposed to smile.

  • #16
Is is just me or are the ears on number four supersized?

  • #17
I lost it while scrolling between 2 and 3. I think trying so hard to not smile is what got me!

  • #18
Before even looking at anything, I almost smiled by trying to not smile... but then I looked at every picture without smiling...

What's so funny about some poor baby primate obviously being scared to death?

  • #21
I almost smiled upon seeing picture two but then I decided to think about something else while looking at the rest of the pictures. No smile.

  • #22
I made it all the way through, but the 4th one almost got me.

Yeah, jeez you guys what's your problem. I scrolled down rather uninterested. I got the point though... there is one right?

That's actually what I thought. That poor ape is being frightened.

So did I, but that's what made me smile.

I don't get the objections. He looks like a typical student from the professors point of view.

Looks like me when asked to do a proof of anything.

....bump....

  • #28
Lol I cracked a smile when I read the word smile test...I'm pathetic. By the time I saw pic one by smile had escalated to huge grin...I am hopeless.

  • #29
The third one got me.

  • #30
I didn't smile at all :bugeye:
(?)

  • #31
I was defenceless against the second one. That cat just looks so insanely happy! Although he looks photoshopped, somehow.

I'm still smiling, and it was 5 minutes ago. :)

None of the pics made me smile but these 2 posts did::smile:

I started to smile when I just read the title, then clicked and before I got to the first picture I started laughing.

Who ever made it without smiling must be really depressed.

Same here...

Edit: Oh boy, I just noticed how old this thread is.

I am glad this thread got bumped for us newer members. Picture 1 got me.

I guess I'm not as manly as I thought I was.

  • #38
Sure I can do it. If i frown hard on purpose and scroll really fast. : P

  • #39
I've seen them elsewhere about a hundred times so I'm pretty desensitized.
Here's another one for a surprise attack though.

I didn't answer this the first time around (it might, in fact, have been before I joined PF). I don't like dogs, but #2 got me instantly.
Nice new pic, Stats.

#2 :d

None of those aminals made me smile. I did smile when I saw IvanSeeking's signature in his original post. How did he predict "I quit - Sarah Palin", in year 2005?

I'm not sure but it was one of two things: Either I checked with an astrologer, or my current signature is what you see in all posts, no matter how old they are.

  • #44
Being on dial-up, I scrolled down not knowing there were pictures coming. No smiles until I got to ...
Sarah Palin is the most prominent and articulate voice for American conservatism.

Okay, I laughed.

And yes, the initial pictures made me smile too.

Boy, am I embarrassed... :blushing:
I just read through the thread and realized that I did answer the first time around. I must be getting soft in my old age, because I made it all of the way through the first time, and only to #2 this time. Maybe it's because my effort to quit drinking is taking effect; I'm down from 25 to 15 beers a day. That seems to be having some peculiar psychological effects.

  • #47
I didnt smile throughout the original test, but honestly that new photo with the kitten and the yarn got me :)

  • #48
I didn't smile at any of them.

  • #49
I laughed at the first one, does that count as smiling?
