How can the electric field inside a conductor be zero?
I know there is a lot of answers out there, but so far none really answered my question. Say I have this radioactive conductor sphere that has a negative charge. Of course, all the negative charges will be spread evenly on the surface and there SHOULD be 0 electric field inside the conductor...- ycheng18

Interaction Energy For Two Point Charges
Homework Statement Find the interaction energy ( ##\epsilon_0 \int \vec{E_1}\cdot\vec{E_2}d\tau##) for two point charges, ##q_1## and ##q_2##, a distance ##a## apart. [Hint: put ##q_1## at the origin and ##q_2## on the z axis; use spherical coordinates, and do the ##r## integral first.]Homework...- thecourtholio

I How do Particle Exchange Forces Create Attractive Forces?
So sorry to post what seems to be a well worn question. So the 4 forces of nature work by "particle exchange" ? Yes we understand the maths of "Fields" and we have the elegance of Maxwell and Newton/Einstein and these mathematical descriptions lead us to force exchange particles which can...- Distant Meteors
