I know the 20 HP does more work, but why?

Is there a conversion unit where I convert 20 HP to Joules?

Power is defined as the rate of doing work, thus the greater the power, the greater the work done per unit time.

Power is a measurement of work over time J/s in (or watts) in the metric system.
1 J/s = 1 Watt and 746 W = 1 hp
