Does a non rotating BH have an accretion disc?
Non-rotating black holes (BH) are unlikely to possess accretion discs due to their formation from objects with angular momentum. While accretion discs are observable outside the event horizon, Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way, is believed to lack a prominent or permanent accretion disc. This conclusion is supported by the observation of nearby stars in orbits indicative of a compact, massive object, rather than the presence of an accretion disc.
