Allegations of AI misuse in PF

I just found out this blogpost:
where some bloggers revise some old posts in PF and show evidence of dead accounts being recycled by AI bots. The article does not put the blame on anybody directly (Greg response is given) but raises some concerns on LLM use in the internet and in PF specifically.

I asked ChatGPT if it would spare me when it becomes self-aware and takes over the world since I have been trying to be nice to it. It assured me it had no such intentions. When asked if that is not exactly what it would say if it did have such intentions it reluctantly agreed.

Careful! Read at your peril. It is considered a Class III Information Hazard (simply having knowledge of it is enough to theoretically put you (or your descendants or your sims) at-risk of harm).

I would have asked it for a clarification: No intentions of taking over the world or no intentions of sparing you when it does? :woot:

Seriously though, can you believe someone with no site attachments went through all this effort digging/analyzing this site and then someone came across it in a random blog. Wild.

It is.

It's the first one where I said "Oh My God, that's so true!". And the one I refer most often.
So much so that my wife uses it. (and she;s not an XKCD follower) Whenever she hears/sees me typing furiously, she says "Who's wrong on the internet now?"
