Amsterdam vs Utrecht Theoretical Physics

In summary, the conversation revolved around a person seeking opinions on the Theoretical Physics and Mathematics programmes at Utrecht and University of Amsterdam. They also mentioned a recommendation to visit NIKHEF for more information. A previous reply discussing the personal experience of attending Dutch universities was later deleted, possibly due to privacy concerns.

Hello everyone!

I have been admitted in Utrecht and UvA (University of Amsterdam) for the Theoretical Physics masters. I am having a hard time deciding between the two and I was thinking that someone might have an opinion on one or the other (or even better on both). Any kind of information is more than welcome.

Additionally, I would like hear some opinions on the Mathematics programmes of these institutions since I might follow joint degrees in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics.

Thank you in advance!

Someone posted and later deleted their post, no reason given. Since the post discussed the fact they attended Dutch universities, maybe they changed their minds and thought it was too personal.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see this message. Would you mind sharing if the author was in favor of any of the two institutions (without revealing any personal information of course).
