Are Unidentified Submerged Objects Real?

Click For Summary
The discussion centers around sightings of unidentified submerged objects (USOs), particularly a notable incident in 1967 off the coast of Brazil involving a cigar-shaped craft that reportedly followed an Argentine cargo ship, Naveiro. The object, described as grey and capable of surfacing and submerging, left no wake and glowed before disappearing underwater. Participants express skepticism about USOs due to the lack of concrete evidence compared to well-documented UFO events, as USO reports are primarily anecdotal. There is mention of a TV program focusing on USO sightings near naval vessels, with some speculation about natural phenomena like ball lightning potentially explaining these sightings. Links to additional resources and video content related to the topic are shared, but the reliability of USO reports remains a key concern in the conversation.

Saw this on TV on some channel last night. I thought it was the stupidest thing I've ever heard, but felt maybe there were some supporters or people who have seen a "USO".

In 1967, again off the coast of Brazil, a cigar shaped craft is reported to have followed the Argentine cargo ship Naveiro. The object stayed alongside the freighter for some time yet curiously left no wake. In some astonishment the crew watched on as the object began to glow in intensity before plunging beneath the ship into deeper waters.

Cigar-shaped underwater UFOs! They can surface and submerge; grey in color. I wonder what these underwater, or "sub-marine" UFO's are.

Supposed to be a Show on it, but don't take my word. I cannot view them at work.

Sure wouldn't mind some text around those links. I'm not about to go on a wild goose chase looking at all that Meg-age.

Unfortunately at this moment I cannot confirm what those are. I got them from another website that said it had to do with a TV show concerning the topic. Here at work the site is blocked. When I get home I'll post what its about.

The first two are simple text pages explaining some of the encounters.

The problem with USOs is that unlike events such as Iran '76 and other notable UFO events that include RADAR hits, multiple eyewitness reports, and official documentation by the military, the USO reports are based entirely on anecdotal evidence, which makes them less reliable and less compelling.

Under water ufos

I watched a program about this on the discovery channel, the main focus was on sightings around the N powered aircraft carrier, if these sightings are down to (ball lightning) type phenomena then it is going to be a tough job explaing how they form under water.
