I have seen a copy of one of his books, and its pretty much all true. But you can also get the same information for free from local and federal government agencies.

Yeah, that was pretty much my understanding of it. And, of course with books, the information becomes quickly outdated, and most of the opportunities will not apply to most people. One can search for the same information at the public library, and narrow the search to results more specific to your needs/circumstances. For example, if you're a senior citizen who needs help finding resources to better insulate/weatherproof your home to reduce winter heating bills, a long list of scholarship opportunities for every ethnic, religious, or cultural group known to man isn't going to be very useful.
