It never crossed my mind that it was supposed to be a play on words. "Make it out" also never crossed my mind. I thought having the characters "make out" was the only possible plot line to go with. :smile:

It's the 'blazen' that really threw me off. I couldn't figure out whether she meant 'blazin' or 'brazen'. It would make a subtle but distinct difference in the direction of the reply. :biggrin:

I didn't see the word "hell" mentioned anywhere in that article.

I did see some pretty sketchy interpretations of Albert Einstein's "beliefs":
As Einstein pointed out, the significance is that the universe has this moment of pin pulling. It has a beginning. Through the principle of positive fact, if the universe has a beginning, it must have a beginner, hence the existence of God.

To his dying day, Einstein held to his belief that as the result of the verification of his theory of General Relativity, God exists. God created the universe and God is intelligent. Now, we don't deny that God is personal. Einstein died too soon.

Amazing how these people will mis-quote or quote out of context from absolutely any source in order to prove an unprovable point. I suppose they didn't notice that this was also before the acceptance of QM.

To find the action - where there's sure to be lots of eligible women looking for men - look in your local paper... Look for advertisements announcing square dances, neighborhood picnics, travel tours, and of course, festivals or similar special events.

:smile: That's what I'm doing wrong, I haven't attended any square dances lately! And, neighborhood picnics? I don't even bother going to those because it's always just the married couples trying to keep track of the hoards of children they bring along; nobody actually talks about anything other than kids. :smile:

But now I get it...he wasn't chiding us for heading toward Hell, he was offering an invitation to join him. He just didn't know we were already there. Ha ha ha! :devil:

Perish forbid! I restrict my dancing to civilized music... from Mitch Rider up to suchlike as Smashmouth and Violent Femmes. That 19-year-old and I won a dance contest to 'Shout' by the Blues Brothers, but I don't think I could handle that with the lung problems. There might be waltzes in my future. :frown:

It seems many religions believe they will be saved and everyone else will go to hell (e.g., born-again Christians believe the only way to be saved is through Jesus) meaning all other good people of other faiths, or even of no particular organized religion are going to hell. I'm sure many people are well-intentioned (i.e., trying to save the sinners), but even according to these religions it is taught that only God can be the judge.
