Eh... when two identical swords "clang" together, is it possible that one of them breaks into two while the other one is still intact??

Thanks...sorry for asking such a question...watching too much anime you see...

Yes, certainly- if the edge of one hits the flat blade of the other.

Or, more generally, assuming that "identical" means each has the same strong points and weak points, if a strong point on one strikes a weak point on the other.
