In summary, Halloween is a holiday with origins in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The tradition of dressing up in costumes can also be traced back to this festival, as it was believed to ward off ghosts. The idea of dressing up as Jaws may have been inspired by the popular 1975 film, and a DIY costume can be made with a sweatshirt, sweatpants, fabric paint, and gloves. Other ways to celebrate Halloween include carving pumpkins, decorating, watching scary movies, and participating in traditional activities.

1. What is the history behind celebrating Halloween?

The origins of Halloween can be traced back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. 2. Why is dressing up in costumes a tradition for Halloween?

The tradition of wearing costumes on Halloween can also be traced back to the Celtic festival of Samhain. 4. How can I make a Jaws costume for Halloween?

To make a Jaws costume, you will need a white or gray hooded sweatshirt, a pair of gray sweatpants, some white fabric paint, and a pair of white gloves.
