In summary, the surface of an object can be changed through methods such as painting, coating, sanding, etching, or chemical treatments for various purposes such as decoration, durability, texture, or functionality. These changes can be permanent, but may require maintenance in some cases. However, there are limitations to changing the surface of an object, and safety precautions should be taken when using certain methods or materials.
