Chemist unwillingly turned chemical engineer

Hello,

I'm just out of grad school working now as a chemical engineer, though the problems I've been asked to solve are quite varied in nature. I've known about and have used physics forums for a while, and just got around to making an account. I hope to learn a lot from here.

Well, welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place. We have lots of folks here who can likely help you out and if they can't answer your questions, I'm always here to just make stuff up.

Welcome to PF.

My Dad was a chemical engineer. To be unwillingly turned into one ... it's horrifying.

Hi, I am a neurosurgeon from Turkey with an interest in physics. I don't have formal training in theoretical physics or advanced mathematics, but i enjoy trying to build intuition about spacetime. I joined Physics Forums to ask conceptual questions, learn where my intuitions break down, and get feedback from people who understand the formal theory much better than I do. Looking forward to learning from the discussions here.
