I Could vacuum decay save multiverse ideas?

  1. Nov 26, 2017 #1
If we discovered that pysical laws could not have been otherwise in our universe as a result of the big bang multiverse ideas would be dead

"nature could not have been otherwise, and with a fundamental theory we will be able to prove this" If this was true, would exist any possible way of changing the physical laws of our universe, so the multiverse would still be an option? Could a false vacuum decay into a true one do that?

We do not discuss philosophy in general and specifically no pure speculations. I cannot judge the paper's value to philosophy, although I doubt there is any, it is of no use for scientific considerations.
