I have applied to the SULI program for this summer (2016) and I haven't gotten a response back. I applied to LBNL and NREL. From previous years, it seems like now is the time that the first round of acceptances is sent out. Has anyone else heard anything? Thanks.

I got an offer last week for SULI summer 2016. Applied to SLAC and LLNL, got in SLAC.

I suppose I am being a snob and possibly impatient, but I'm surprised I haven't been offered anything yet. I know my skills, interests, and coursework are very aligned with the programs I applied to, and I have even done an internship there last year. Now, I am afraid I may be offered nothing from SULI.

I applied to both SLAC and LBNL.

Good luck everyone!

I applied to SLAC and LLNL and got accepted to SLAC. I heard back on February 17th but maybe they do multiple waves of acceptances?

I did the same thing!: Applied to SLAC and LLNL and got my notification on Feb 18 from SLAC and accepted it right away. Did you accept your SLAC offer?

Yep! I'll be there this summer!

I graduated with a BSc in Physics in 2020. Since there were limited opportunities in my country (mostly teaching), I decided to improve my programming skills and began working in IT, first as a software engineer and later as a quality assurance engineer, where I’ve now spent about 3 years. While this career path has provided financial stability, I’ve realized that my excitement and passion aren’t really there, unlike what I felt when studying or doing research in physics. Working in IT...
Hi everyone! I'm a senior majoring in physics, math, and music, and I'm currently in the process applying for theoretical and computational biophysics (primarily thru physics departments) Ph.D. programs. I have a 4.0 from a basically unknown school in the American South, two REUs (T50 and T25) in computational biophysics and two semesters of research in optics (one purely experimental, one comp/exp) at my home institution (since there aren't any biophysics profs at my school), but no...
