B Does my theory about black holes make sense ?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around a theory proposing that black holes could host universes between the singularity and the event horizon. The original poster expresses a desire to explore this idea mathematically, despite acknowledging a lack of precision. However, responses indicate that the theory is unlikely to hold up under current physics, particularly general relativity, which distinguishes sharply between the interior and exterior of black holes. Additionally, the forum rules prohibit the posting of personal theories and the use of chatbots for generating scientific ideas, leading to the thread's closure. Overall, the theory lacks support and violates forum guidelines.

I'm bored out of my mind and while watching a PBS spacetime video I had an idea.

What if black holes are hosts to universes in between the singularity and the event horizon ?

It's 3am so pardon my lack of precision, but chatGPT did formulate my idea pretty well in this conversation : Link to plausible-sounding but nonsensical chatbot-generated text removed
Does that make any sense at all ? There must be a way in which this couldn't work but I can't see it right now.

Would it be worth it to actually try and formulate it mathematically ? I've studied physics in college a while back but changed carreers. I have quite a bit of spare time and I would love doing this.
Any insight would be much appreciated

Thank you !

If you want to learn, this is the place for that. However, posting personal theories on the forum is against the rules.

The interior of a black hole is very different to the exterior. So the short answer is no, not unless you invent an entire new theory of physics that behaves exactly like GR outside the hole but very differently inside.

As @Ibix says above, no.
Please review the forum rules about personal theories and using chatbots; this thread is in violation of both and has been closed.

Is a homemade radio telescope realistic? There seems to be a confluence of multiple technologies that makes the situation better than when I was a wee lad: software-defined radio (SDR), the easy availability of satellite dishes, surveillance drives, and fast CPUs. Let's take a step back - it is trivial to see the sun in radio. An old analog TV, a set of "rabbit ears" antenna, and you're good to go. Point the antenna at the sun (i.e. the ears are perpendicular to it) and there is...
3I/ATLAS, also known as C/2025 N1 (ATLAS) and formerly designated as A11pl3Z, is an iinterstellar comet.
