Does the location of a switch affect current in a simple circuit?

    I said no because the switch can be placed anywhere throughout the current

    That depends on what your definition of a simply circuit is.

    a simple circuit is a circuit that uses DC (direct current)
    u know like a battery, a switch, load and conducting wires. Isnt that called a simple circuit. Its also called a series circuit.

    Then you are correct, the position of a switch does not affect the current in a series circuit.
