I'm doing an adult-education course this semester which aims to take the student from pre-calc to calc in 18 weeks.

The materials on offer at the course (for which I only have 3 contact hours a week) seem pretty slight to me.

Does anyone know of a good online source of exercises and worksheets with answers and worked solutions in pre-calc

Had a look and it seemed promising until I saw the cash register.
Sorry, should have stipulated "free" sites; I'm spoilt by Linux.

This won't really help for precalc, but when you start getting into calculus, definitely take a look at MIT's OpenCourseWare. Many of their courses have free video lectures, assignments, and exams.
