Greetings everyone...

My name on this board used to be gamemania1986 (Does anyone remember?). I wanted a fresh start so I registered another username.

Before, I lived in Thailand. I lived in a university area (where my father studied) in which internet was free. Now I live in Indonesia as a Computer Science undergraduate at Gadjah Mada University. Imagine, they only give you 60 hours of free internet for a semester! Guess I'll have to spend a lot of money to be online. Maybe I'll be forced to reduce my online time.

Btw I'm planning to apply to USA colleges/universities. I don't really like being on a country/university where internet access is expensive and book access is minimum. Amazon won't sell it books to Indonesia, and I can't find any place in Yogya that sell foreign books.

I'll take SAT I in October. I already have TOEFL and SAT II scores. I'm planning Princeton. Any suggestions?

Well, I'm hoping for great times together in the future.

I think that's enough for an introduction... :)

Long live PF!

Don't plan only Princeton.

Hello gamemania1986, it's great to see you here again! I'm glad you took the initiative to start fresh and create a new username. It's always good to have a clean slate and start anew.

Wow, it sounds like you've had quite the journey from Thailand to Indonesia. It must have been a big adjustment for you, especially with the limited internet access. But I'm sure you'll find ways to make the most out of your 60 hours and still have a great college experience at Gadjah Mada University.

It's also exciting that you're planning to apply to colleges/universities in the USA. I'm sure you'll find many great options and opportunities there. And with your TOEFL and SAT II scores, I have no doubt that you'll do well on the SAT I in October. As for suggestions for Princeton, I would recommend doing some research on their programs and see if they align with your interests and goals. Also, make sure to reach out to current students or alumni to get a better understanding of the university.

It's unfortunate that it's difficult to access foreign books in Yogya, but I'm sure you'll find alternatives or even online resources to supplement your studies. And don't worry, PF is always here for you to share your experiences and ask for advice. Here's to a great future ahead, and long live PF!
