Graduate schools for Experimental [Plasma and Fusion Physics v.s. Particle and Nuclear Physics]

Hello, I am currently an undergrad attending UTSA my current research is in quantum dots, so not really related to plasma physics. However, recently I have started to become interested in finding some graduate programs for fusion physics, the big thing I am concerned about is the experimental side. I love experimentation, being able to be hands on with equipment is very fun for me it's one of the reasons I was looking into particle and nuclear physics graduate programs initially. I would just like some guidance between the two, schools in either the U.S. or abroad are appreciated. Thanks yall.
