Gravity from quantum vacuum (energy gradients)

TL;DR
What if gravity isn't a pull, but the quantum vacuum pushing matter together? Matter displaces vacuum energy, creating gradients. Like dish soap spreading on water—gradients push bubbles (matter) together locally while also expanding out to the edges of the sink (universe).
