Homework Statement

A 1500kg car traveling at 72km/h experiances an air reistance of 2000N and a road Friction of 1500N, if the wheels push with a force of 8000N find the Cars Acceleration, cars velocity after 35 seconds and Distance traveled in 1 minute.

Homework Equations

M= 1500kg Fa= 8000 Vi=72km/h.. that's all i figured out, Ffriction is 2000+1500??

The Attempt at a Solution

uhmmm i found out Acceleration is 3 m/s(squared) because i did (Fnet/m)=a
which was 4500/1500 =3 (8000-3500)/1500

Good job finding the acceleration! Now, what have you tried for the other problems?

uhh
i used the formula vf=vi+at and converted the 72km/h to the units m/s
and I am stuck there

Well, you know the acceleration, time, and initial velocity so you should easily be able to solve for the final velocity. What's tripping you up?
