Would you fix the Minnow and lose the comfort of Mary Ann and Ginger on a lonely tropical night? I always believed the prof was really behind their escape failures.

As much as I liked the Professor (RIP) and his gadgets, I must admit that I watched the show to see Mary Ann. :blushing:
 
I remember in the preface of a computer language book (C, or ADA, Software Engineering or something) said
the professor from Gilligans Island and Mr Spock from Star Trek are unlike other scientists. They know everything about everything.

I wish I could remember the book.

I will miss Russell Johnson. He was also the time traveler who tried to save Lincoln on the Twilight zone
