To estimate the price of a design for a modified vibro-feeder, start by evaluating the costs of raw materials like 1.5mm formed steel or aluminum plate. Consider the preparation costs associated with these materials, as they can significantly impact the overall price. Creating detailed drawings and specifications is essential for obtaining accurate quotes from manufacturers. Research reliable websites for material pricing and preparation costs to inform your estimates. Gathering multiple quotes from different manufacturers will help you determine a competitive price for your design.

How do I evaluate the price of the vibro-feeder that I'm modifying? I need to find out how much it would cost to create individual parts, i.e. 1.5mm formed steel or aluminum plate etc.
I guess I should evaluate raw materials first but how much does the preparation costs, any reliable websites?

Prepare some drawings and specifications and shop them around to manufacturers.

My idea is that I want to use immerse Whitetail Antlers in a fishtank to measure their volumetric displacement (the Boone and Crockett system is the current record measurement standard to place in a juxtaposition with) I would use some sight glass plumbed into the side of the tank to get the change in height so that I can multiply by the tank cross-section. Simple Idea. But... Is there a simple mechanical way to amplify the height in the sight glass to increase measurement precision...
