Two questions! PLEASE HELP :)

Homework Statement

A block rests on an incline that makes angle θ with the horizontal. The block remains at rest as θ is slowly increased. What happens to the magnitudes of the normal force and the static friction force of the incline on the block?

A stone of mass 1 kg and weight 10 N falls through the air. The air resistance acting on the stone is 2 N. What is the acceleration of the stone?

Please explain both answers. THANK YOU!

1. It makes it easier if you have each question in its own thread. This way we all don't have to guess which question each post in the tread is talking about.
2. You haven't shown any work. We can't help you until you show us some work.

Let's concentrate on the first problem. After you've read the forum rules, specifically the ones pertaining to the homework forum, post the second question as a new thread.

What seems to have you stumped?
