What is meant by 'anterior' propulsion? What is being propelled?

In reaction propulsion systems, the propellant mass is expelled from the 'rear' or 'posterior' of the spacecraft in the direction opposite to that of the spacecraft s direction. To decelerate, the spacecraft would rotate 180° and fire the same rocket motors to slow.

In orbital transfer, the influence of lunar and solar forces depends on the distance the moon and sun are from the spacecraft , and its distance from the earth. The question is then what is the relative influence of each force, and how does it influence orbit or orbital transfer.
