How to Find Authors' Emails for SU(N) Gauge Theory Paper?

Click For Summary

Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the challenge of finding the email addresses of authors for a specific paper related to SU(N) gauge theory. Participants share their experiences and suggestions regarding locating author contact information, particularly through arXiv and Vixra.

Discussion Character

  • Meta-discussion
  • Exploratory

Main Points Raised

  • One participant expresses difficulty in finding the email of a specific author and seeks assistance.
  • Another participant provides a link to the paper on arXiv but notes that it is more challenging to find author emails when linked directly to the PDF.
  • Multiple participants mention that author contact information can typically be found on the arXiv landing page, but some express frustration with navigating the site.
  • There is a suggestion to use Vixra instead of arXiv, although one participant criticizes Vixra as being "full of nonsense."
  • The discussion briefly shifts to a critique of string theory, with participants sharing opinions on its validity and experimental evidence.
  • A participant indicates they will send the email of one author via private message.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants generally agree that author emails can be found on arXiv, but there is no consensus on the ease of access or the reliability of Vixra. Additionally, there is disagreement regarding the validity of string theory and its experimental evidence.

Contextual Notes

Some participants express frustration with the arXiv system and the difficulty of finding information when linked directly to a PDF. There are unresolved opinions regarding the credibility of Vixra compared to arXiv.

I want to find the email of the authors.
The problem is I cannot find hers.
How to find it?

Any help?
Thanks in advance!

I mean emails of course, it's should be plural.

But also singular will work, whatever you can find me with.

There's information on the landing page on the arXiv. But since you linked directly to the PDF , it's not so easy for me to find it.

I once tried to use their system but it's awkward better use Vixra instead.

Simply click on the arXiv banner on the left side of the first page.

I'll send you the e-mail of Dumitrescu by PM.

Which is full of nonsense.

You got to be one in order to know. Are string theorists crackpots as when we'll get a test that confirms it? Not in our life time. Its not the theory of everything but of nothing and believe me I know. ;-)

Stringbtheory ismt the theory of everything but of nothing... Cheers mates.

What I tried to convey is there is no experimental evidence of Superstring theory and will never will be since the universe is infinite and this theory is finite.

Not currently, no.

If this were valid reasoning it would apply to every scientific theory since all such theories are finite. So it's obviously not valid reasoning since we do have experimental evidence in factor of many scientific theories.

In any case, all this is irrelevant to the thread topic, which was a request for emails. Since @DrClaude has said he will send you that information by PM, this thread will remain closed.
