How to Make 50 Cents Using Only Four Coins?

In summary, the conversation discusses a problem involving making 50 cents using only four coins, without using quarters. The solution proposed is one nickel, two dimes, and one quarter, with the explanation that there is no other way to make 50 cents with only four coins. The conversation also includes a side discussion about using apostrophes to pluralize, and references a different logic problem for further challenge.

I think it is ok...

One nickel (5 cents) + Two dimes (10+10 cents) + ONE Quarter (250 cents).

As you can see, I've used just ONE quarter! (instead quarter's)

i was hoping you would show logic to show what must be correct, and point out why it must be what you said, but i gusse you must have heared this one before :/

logic to show...?! C'mon, the conclusion is obvious: there isn't a different way to make 50 cents using 4 coins.

I just had to read 3 or 4 times to get
- it was a "funny problem" ,
- and I couldn't "use quarter's"...

It took about 3 minutes to solve this problem.

Well. if you really like logic problems, try to solve this one:

You used apostorphe to pluralize. That is a no-no!

So yeah, one quarter, and 5 nickels for all I care. 4 coin's? What do they own? Value lol.

What are the four coins needed to make 50 cents?

The four coins needed are a quarter, a dime, a nickel, and a penny.

What is the value of each coin?

A quarter is worth 25 cents, a dime is worth 10 cents, a nickel is worth 5 cents, and a penny is worth 1 cent.

Can the coins be arranged in any order to make 50 cents?

Yes, the coins can be arranged in any order as long as they add up to 50 cents. For example, 25 cents + 10 cents + 10 cents + 5 cents = 50 cents.

Is it possible to make 50 cents using only three coins?

No, it is not possible to make 50 cents using only three coins. The closest amount that can be made with three coins is 41 cents (a quarter, a dime, and a nickel).

Can you use the same coins multiple times to make 50 cents?

Yes, you can use the same coins multiple times to make 50 cents. For example, 25 cents + 25 cents = 50 cents.
