Discussion Overview

The discussion centers around seeking guidance for a Master's dissertation focused on "Fuzzy-Finite Element Analysis and Inelastic Buckling of Plate under load uncertainty using ANSYS." Participants explore the necessary steps and resources for conducting research and modeling in ANSYS.

Discussion Character

  • Homework-related
  • Exploratory

Main Points Raised

  • Anil K Vishwa expresses a need for guidance on how to proceed with his dissertation topic and requests links for modeling in ANSYS.
  • Some participants suggest that the initial request may reflect a lack of independent study, implying that a dissertation typically requires more self-directed research.
  • Anil clarifies that he is from India and is already attempting to gather materials on three specific areas: Fuzzy Finite Element Analysis, Inelastic Buckling, and Analysis using ANSYS.
  • There is a recognition that while independent study is important, it is also acceptable to seek help and resources related to the study.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants generally agree that independent study is essential for a dissertation, but there is no consensus on the appropriateness of Anil's initial request for help. Some view it as a legitimate inquiry, while others perceive it as a request for someone to do the work for him.

Contextual Notes

Participants have not fully explored the specifics of Fuzzy-Finite Element Analysis or inelastic buckling, and there are unresolved questions regarding the integration of these topics with ANSYS.

Need Guidance for My dessertaion

Dear friends,

I want to do my Masters dessertation in structural engineering on " Fuzzy-Finite Element Analysis and Inelastic Buckling of Plate under load uncertainty using ANSYS".
Please guide me anyone in the right dircetion how to proceed. Send me Any links about Modeling in ANSYS for a plate for inelastic analysis.
Thanking you in advance

regards,

Anil K Vishwa

Yes it was a little mean, but it was also a - do my homework for me - type question

Yeah. A dissertation requires a bit more independent study! Haha.

Yea. You are right. I am from India.
I am already trying to find out the materail on this subject.
I have three different things to study and join them at end.
1. Fuzzy Finite Element Analsysis
2. Inelastic Buckling
3. Analysis using ANSYS

Is it clear or still I am in ignorence.
Please let me know.

It's okay to get help, though, and ask for resources related to your study.
